Water scarcity is
the lack of sufficient available water resources to meet the demands of water
usage within a region . It is the difficulty of obtaining sources of fresh
water for use during a period of time and may result in depletion and
deterioration.
Water scarcity is being driven by two
converging phenomena : growing fresh water use and depletion of usable fresh
water resources . The reduction of water scarcity is a goal of many countries
and governments. The U.N recognizes the importance of reducing the number of
people without sustainable access to clean water and sanitation .
Now
India facing the worst water crisis in the world . Some cities like Bengaluru ,
Delhi and Hyderabad facing more water scarcity .
Causes of water scarcity :-

Pollution
of water .
2.
Overuse
of water .
3.
Growth
of population.
4.
Increasing
of Global warming.
5.
Excess
use of ground water .
6.
Misusing
of fresh water .
7.
Digging
of more Bore wells .
8.
Deforestation
and
9.
Urbanization
.
These are the causes of Water scarcity .
Solutions of Water scarcity :-
1.
Instead
of using shower we can use buckets of water for bathing .
2.
Check
water taps, pipelines and toilet tank for leakages seal if necessary .
3.
Build
water harvesting system in your house .
4.
Use
Sprinklers and Drip Irrigation in Agriculture for water conserving .
5.
Soak
pits construction should be done mandatory .
6.
Except
septic tanks all connections should be attached to soak pits .
7.
No
other usages should be done in water bodies .
8.
POP
idols should not immerse in water bodies .
9.
Deforestation
should be decreased .
10.
The
Government should appreciate the colonies which save or conserve water.
