Why can’t we tickle ourselves ????
Our skin ,
It is the outermost largest organ in our
body. It have different types of tissues and different types of receptors like
Cutaneous receptors , etc . Coming to the point, Our skin recognizes all kinds of tickle sensations.
These signals are sent to the brain, interpreted, and the body responds
accordingly. The brain can differentiate between the touch stimuli we create
and the stimuli given by others.
If
we try to tickle, our brain can imagine this kind of touch is from our hands
and the brain prepare for it. There is no element of the unexpected, so that
the body does not react in the same way to another. So don’t try to tickle it
won’t work .
